Guests is a new Microsoft Teams app for guest management provided by AskMeWhy AG. The app empowers Microsoft Teams users to independently invite and manage guests while automatically adhering to the company’s governance and lifecycle standards. Guests offers fundamental governance, lifecycle, and self-service features aimed at making the process of collaborating with guests in Microsoft Teams more unified, straightforward, transparent, and secure.

Guests provides the following benefits:

• Intuitive guest management
  The Admin Center offers an intuitive user interface with a central overview for efficient guest user management in your Microsoft 365 tenant. The status of each guest is easily identifiable, allowing for the assignment of templates, rules, and responsible parties, as well as the removal or blocking of outdated guests.

• Custom templates and policies
  Guests provides templates and policies for controlling the onboarding of new guests, monitoring during collaboration, and automatically removing no longer needed access.

• Integration with Microsoft Entra ID
  Guests utilizes Microsoft Graph for seamless integration with Microsoft Entra ID. Displayed information, inviting, creating, deleting, or blocking guests occurs directly within your environment.

• Self-Service for Microsoft Teams users
  Ease the burden on your IT by enabling guest management with the Guests Teams app directly within Microsoft Teams. The templates and policies configured by your IT are automatically enforced for governance and the lifecycle.

Guests is available worldwide for all Microsoft 365 or Entra ID customers and offers the opportunity to test the app for free for 30 days. To start your journey with Guests, all you need is a Microsoft 365 Global Admin account.

1. Sign in to the Guests Admin Center
To get started immediately, use your Microsoft 365 global admin account and click on the “Sign In” button at the top of this page or one of the “Try for Free” buttons. Visit our “Getting Started” guide for step-by-step instructions.

2. Test Guests for free and anonymously for 30 days
When you access the Guests Admin Center for the first time, your 30-day trial will start automatically. You can end the trial at any time.

For functional purposes, we store your Tenant ID. Information about your organization remains anonymous to us, and we only contact you if you use one of the forms on this website. You can permanently delete your templates and policies at any time.
